Jarek Mountain is no stranger to the food industry. Having more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, and a deep appreciation for the art and science behind every cocktail, allows him to be exceptional in his role as Managing Partner at Yellow Door Taqueria. Mountain attended college at Suffolk University in Boston before making a move to California where he discovered his passion for cocktail creation in San Diego’s Gaslamp District. Eventually returning to Boston to pursue his newfound passion, Mountain has now opened six restaurants while designing numerous bar and training programs along the way.
He has competed in various cocktail events that have taken him all over the world, and when asked his favorite part about being in the industry, he states that it is the people he has met along the way that have become his closest friends, whether through work or meeting them at the bar. He enjoys all sports and spending time outdoors, especially at the beach.
